Rock Climbing

Just wondering how many beyonders are rock climbing junkies? Anyone go outdoor climbing or is the beyond crew mostly indoor folks? Favorite climbing gym? Just curious to see who else here is into climbing since we have a monster badminton thread :)

Mmm haven't been out for awhile but started climbing during my university years. Stronghold and CCC are my favourite places. I don't do a lot of outdoor climbs but Heart Creek is pretty good/close.

It is not that bad outdoors you just have to be a decent lead climber and then you pick something a good 2-3 grades under what you climb indoors :) It's pretty fun you should check out grassi lakes!

I'm starting to get into it but seeing how good some people are on the boulder wall compared to me, it makes me pretty nervous to try anything out of the gym. Maybe next summer!

P.S. I tried looking for a partner to climb with awhile ago, maybe more interest in here??!!

Try to climb weekly at the CCC and/or MRC.

Was going to start sport climbing outdoors this summer, but time didn't permit. Perhaps next summer! :)

I climb at the U of C... not very good at it but its pretty fun.
