So planning on ordering a present for the gf through tiffany and co and cant decide on what type of lettering to choose for the engraving...any input would be appreciated.

I was leaning towards Roman but then the French Script appealed to me more. The letters that will be engraved will be --- A L C ---

Is that a pendant? If it is, I'd get the Script. The French one is ok, but that's just my personal preference. The Roman doesn't have a feminine feel to it. But you know your Gf's taste better than I do.;)

I like the script or french script better, roman is a bit too "sterile" imo.

I prefer the script myself

I like the kind you can actually read what the letter is.

My parents bought me a signet ring when I graduated, I can't even make out my own initials.

When I look at these I just think of them as something a dog would wear (dog tag).

I would probably buying her like a gold collar to go with it then...

you are buying your GF a dog tag?

Man you have got some big balls (for now),.. I'd like to know the aftermath.

haha...that wasnt what i got her. This is what i actually got her http://www.tiffany.ca/Shopping/Item.aspx?sku=21809802&mcat=148207&cid=288153&search_params=s+5-p+3-c+288153-r+501287465-x+-n+6-ri+-ni+0-t+

Those were just examples of the different writing styles that they offered.

I ended up choosing French Script, as it looked classy and was read-able.

Thanks for all the suggestions fellas!
