Please don't use those, they cause much more problems than it's worth. Take the extra few minutes to splice a connection!

And again,
These T-Tap connection cause more problems than they are worth.
1. They actually cut into the wire causing a smaller gauge of wire making the connection.
2. In time they eventually loose their continuity.
3. The white metal of the connector corrodes causing poor or intermittent connection.
4. In heavier gauge connections I have seen them melt and cause major issues at the ignition switch.
5. NEVER use them for trailer wiring.

I got mine at autovalue in silversprings.

For LED angel eyes, they do the trick.

Shit are these things really that bad? I just used like 4 of them to bypass the parking brake check for my new head unit..I hope they don't fail on me!

EDIT: If you still want them I got a pack of 6 or 8 from The Source by CC for like 5 bucks.

Yeah, they're ghetto fixes. I would use them as a last resort.

last resort? last i tried they were more of a hassle to attach than using a wire splitter to clean some wire off and wrap a tapped connection to the wire.

Dude I have a whole bag of 1000 of them.

I guess I can spare a few to you... lol. Why do you all think its so bad? I've used them several times and they seem fine?

Let me know.

They seem fine until you're watching your car burn. Or suddenly your lights don't work, etc.

I like these for stereo and speaker wiring. Saves cutting up the factory wiring. Never had any issues.

What are you using them for?? I bought a bag of 50 of them off eBay, pm if you want some. The ones I have are for 18-22 wire size.

You just haven't had any YET. Anybody who cheaps out and uses these are asking for trouble.

Do not use. /thread
