WILL NOT FIT S2K, you cannot stagger front to back like that

shadowz - just wondering why it won't fit? I've seen S2K's run NSX wheels as per below:

http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m64/captnplnet/whiteonspa.jpg

17" staggered fitment (widths front & back are different as pictured above).

Minimum offset for tire width & wheel width: (S2K)
For the front:
6.5” to 7.5” wide wheel: 205 tires: +43 offset minimum
7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel: 215 tires: +48 offset minimum
7.0” to 8.0” wide wheel: 225 tires: +53 offset minimum
7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel: 235 tires: +58 offset minimum
7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel: 245 tires: +63 offset minimum

For the rear:
7.5” to 8.5” wide wheel: 235 tires: +40 offset minimum
7.5” to 9.0” wide wheel: 245 tires: +45 offset minimum
8.0” to 9.5” wide wheel: 255 tires: +50 offset minimum
8.5” to 9.5” wide wheel: 265 tires: +55 offset minimum
9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel: 275 tires: +60 offset minimum
9.0” to 10.0” wide wheel: 285 tires: +65 offset minimum

NSX '02-'05:
17" x 7" front rims: +60mm
17" x 9" rear rims: +56mm

It will throw off the balance, as you have posted the spec above they are 17 inch, stagger in width is fine for s2k but not in height, you are selling two 16 and two 17 inch, this will not work on a s2000 hope this clears things up for you

shadowz - thanks for your clarification. However how would the F/R be staggered in height if the right size tires are chosen to equalize the rolling diameter F&R?

ie: 205/55/16 and 215/45/17 both have diameters within 1% of each other

What are the wheel offsets?

Going to measure the offset this weekend; however since they were made for the NSX, I would venture to guess ~+60mm front for the 16x8 and +55mm for the 17x10's in the rear.

For a sensitive car such as a s2000 you will experience increased understeer due to more traction in the rear. and braking bias will be affected.

for straight line traction ull be fine tho. just dont turn.

Kinda of pointless for s2000, good luck with the sale, just dont want anyone purchasing something that wont work thats all

shadowz - thanks for the info. Under/oversteer is not just a factor of tire width frictional coefficients of the tires would come into play, although you are right if you're using the same tires F/R. However tire pressures play a large roll in that as well even with stock wheels on stock rubber on the S2K.

would the 16x8 fit on a 5 gen prelude ?

anhsicun - it would bolt on, however I'm not sure of the offset and its compatibility with the 5th Gen Prelude.
