No red lights. Just no tv output, shows nothing on tv but you can hear the sounds.

good for parts. $50.00

Just want to be clear, this is just the xbox 360, power unit and cables.
No controllers
No Hardrive

has the system been opened? is the warranty sticker still intact (under faceplate)? what's the manufacture date on the back?

if he can hear sounds from the dashboard but no video, that means that there is a problem with the soldering within the xbox...so just changing from a different AV cable won't fix anything....

a possible fix is using a hairdryer/heatgun on the board itself.... or send it to MS for $100 to fix
