I am looking for people who work in the service/parts/sales department at dealerships or even some one at an aftermarket shop of any kind (wheels & tires, performance shops detailing shops, Motorcycle shops etc). The shop doesn’t even have to be in Calgary just someone that would be willing to reply to an email I have to send out from my SAIT email account for one of my Automotive Marketing classes at SAIT. I have sent out over 20 emails and only have 4 that responded. I am worried that people are thinking they are committing to something big, when all I am looking for is the email replies, and maybe a response to the occasional 1 or 2 emails if I have a question that comes up in class that I think would be something that would pertain to your field of work.

Thanks guys.

I can give you my buddies email, he's in NS though, he was service manager for honda, and has now taken over their new shop for the power sports side of things (bikes, 4wheelers, garden equipment...etc)

As long as you aren't going to bother him too much.. :dunno: pm me.

You can PM me, I'll try to help as long as it doesn't require me to be present (in person)

Edit: From a "detail shop side"

Its to get contacts in the automotive field as I am taking Automotive Marketing at SAIT. And this project alone is worth all 3 of my tests in this class.

No disrespect or anything, but did you ever think that some of us SAIT students are actually willing to use this project later on? Sure it’s mainly going to be just for that 15% of your final mark, but as I am getting more and more email replies and actually talking to some of these people from all over, it is making more and more sense to me as to why they get us to do this project. I have people from all over Canada and the U.S and there are quite a few of them who are genuinely interested in helping me and even though I have what I need from them for the project, I have continued to contact them about many different things that I personally want to know/find out about the automotive industry that I would not know about. As I do want to open up a shop of my own.
