Replace existing car-starter?

Wondering if it is possible to replace a remote-start system in a vehicle with a more advanced one. The one I have right now kind of sucks, doesn't have much range, and I would prefer to install the one the pages you back to let you know the vehicle is running.

Curious if this can be done? Will it cause some hilarious wiring problems? The current starter works fine, just has shit range.

Of course it can be done. You remove the old one and install a new one.
