Is anyone on this board in Pharm sales? If so how did you get into it and what were your qualifications?

Is there some things you dislike about the position and what do you like the most about it?

pm Pacman, he's the only one I know of, and is really helpful with any questions you might have.

You need a bachelor's degree is business or science. It's super competitive from what I know. Doctor's don't want to see you, they're annoyed when you want to take time to pitch stuff to them. Most of the time, you better be bringing food or else they won't even take time to hear your pitch. High pressure to sell, more so than other sales positions. You should enjoy learning about science or you won't enjoy the job..

I'm not in pharma sales but from what I've read, or been told, this is how it is.

Generally, we don't want to see you at the pharmacy either. You'd better be good at pitching your sales, or be super friendly and likable.

Don't take the job if you aren't either or can't feign enthusiasm.
