:werd: Put a strong pokey spring between the rotor and rim, so when the fucker(s) take off the rim they'll get a "pop" surprise right to the eye.

Or chain them up to the A-arm

yeah this happend not too long ago, i remember looking at it 2 days ago...everything looked fine. I stoped by tonight and i talked too the security person. I told him what had happend and where. He showed me papers of all the cars that where driving around the lot and took down the plate and descriptions...so maybe that will turn up something.

why would they only take two, and not to cuss out your rims or anything but why would they go through the trouble of taking those. sorry something does not add up, maybe its a prank.

they'll be back for those. They still need their jacks to put the stolen wheels on their own car.

that would have taken them forever with those ghetto scissor jacks.

Ouch...sorry to hear man.

Hmm...shall we round up the crew?

I'll keep a look out. What is the bolt pattern? 4 x 100? Helps narrow down the cars to keep a look out when driving.

update:

months ago my front japanese lic plate had gotten stolen, a few of us here seen it on a silver skyline parked in our lott(who worked at landrover)...but i dont remember what my plate looked like(i didnt wanna make a mistake on blaming this person)...ive seen it on his car a few times. So on the weekend my gf was digging for old photos AND she found a photo of my jdm plate on my old car!!!

last friday, he came in our lott again...an employee noticed him and told me. I went out too look at it...and i talked too this person with the skyline. Got some info from him. Asked him a few questions about the car and plate.(in a friendly way)

so now that i have the everything i need too get the ball rolling
i hope this will also lead too my rims.
i will try and post some pics of my plate and his.

Are those JDM plates unique? Can anyone get one made any time?

anyway, subscribed

nah its not unique, its just the fact he stole it and now driving around/parked at our lott. Im pretty sure this will lead too my 2 wheels.

Maybe he just saw yours and said to himself, "dang, that be the coolest cat in down with his snazzy jdm plate n shiz, i wanna be just like him" and bought the same one?...

gen2teggy

I believe they all different, like our canadian lic plate(non of em are the same)...so im pretty sure he cant have the same one i had for years.

Yeah, plus it would be ridiculously unlikely that it's the same numbers, same prefecture, and same year. (JDM plates have three distinct parts that vary between plates).

You should get what's yours back.

Afterwards, karma should let him know what's up in a timely fashion. Like a brick through his window. Must have fell from the sky?

-find out details on the origin of the plate. make sure its not a novelty plate where it can be ordered off a website and many copies exist.
-if you confirm its a unique plate, confront the guy and show him the pictures. id probably take photos of his car and the plate before you confront. tell him you suspect the rims were stolen at the same time and youre prepared to go to the police with the photos showing your plate on his car and your suspicion about the rims. (even if the cops wont do anything, the threat might make the guy squirm especially if you show him the pic of the same plate on your car and his car as he cant just run home and take the plate off.)

-this wouldnt excuse the guy from being a thief but he likely thought the car belonged to the dealership and was a trade-in that wasnt in condition to be sold and was just collecting dust. he probably figured it wouldnt be too big of a crime to take the plate. and maybe he or someone else then figured the same thing and took the wheels.

i doubt a skyline owner has much use for those type of rims , unless he plans on redrilling them? :dunno: any other 240s in the automall?
