Hey guys I just picked up a 91 crx si special edition I am just wondering what is different with the special edition then the regular SI. The only thing I noticed so far was the sticker on the tail lights and the sunroof visor. Is there anything else?

I did some research and I found out that they are pretty rare! I guess I am lucky to get my 91 special edition with 184000 original kms, in perfect condition.

I also they inculde this:
Rear CRX VT style spoiler
Rear wiper motor and arm to accomodate spoiler
Front lip spoiler
Leather wrapped steering wheel, same as CRX VT
Double DIN dash piece
Double DIN CD and tape combo
Painted mirrors and side trim.
Special Edition door decals
Special Edition decal on rear center taillight garnish.
NH-550M Vogue Silver paint.
Only 250 were made with consecutive VIN numbers.

I too would like to see pics of this rare ride.

I love a clean CRX... I remember that guy from Ontario with the red one.

It's sad that I know exactly what car you're talking about, and yes, it is sick.

Haha oops. My bad.

Nevertheless, the car shown seems to be in great condition.

Now, how about that 'steal of a deal' ceebz? :D

If it has "Special Edition" in the rear lens, KEEP IT

I tried looking for one back in 2001. The cheapest I found that was actually decent was going for $10k. I settled for a regular Si.

Yeah I've always had a soft spot for a nice crx. They were a cool car in their day no doubt about it.

Also It has some work done to it. Its lowered no clue on what or how much, air intake, headers+exhaust, the only thing that was a mess is the wiring, someone just ripped out the deck so I have no harness. I basically have to wire all the wires to a harness to get sound ;(

The rear oem SE spoiler has been changed out for an aftermarket model with a light.

The overall condition does look very good.

Are you sure that is a different spoiler?

100% sure. The Canadian SE came with the same rear spoiler found on the jdm EF8 SiR, and the edm VT models. I know, i have one myself.

The original spoiler has no light, and has three mounting supports, not two like the one pictured on your car.

here's a pic of what i'm talking about

here's a pic of an actual SE with the same original spoiler
