We are looking for "high end" stuff (not the bay/sears etc..)

Went cheap last time and I will never do that again.

We have looked at Pottery Barn, Soho Nada but was hoping someone might have some more suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

They ship to Canada, and they have awesome bedding.

you want egyptian cotton with a high thread count. IMO that is way more important that WHERE you get it. you can get both high quality and low quality stuff at the bay, but remember you get what you pay for, so be ready to drop some cash.

or, what about linens n' things?

yea, you're gonna drop some bennies for a nice set

that said, they are way way way more comfortabel, and they last a lot longer too. so they are worth the extra cash.

does calgary have a bed, bath and beyond yet?

If not, head over to linens and things. You'll find good stuff there.

The wife advised me that Chintz & Co has some bedding and there was a place right around the Bead store in Mount Royal that had some nice things she is not sure if they are still around.

Also, I am told my favourite sheets were from Cushy Life in Kensington...and I won't tell you that she spend more than $500.00 on sheets cause that is flipping crazy.

I bought 800 thread count egyptian cotton sheets from Linens and Things. They are awesome! The one in Shawnessy has them on sale quite frequently.

Costco always has some mid range I guess. I bought some that were on sale and 5 or 600 thread count. There were OK, much nicer that what I was used to.

But the ones you get at nice hotels are just so much nicer. I'm not sure what type they use but I want to find them. Or maybe its just nice because they use like 10 different layers to make it feel nice and look good.

That nice hey:D

I'm not 100% sure but I watched some show that said buying too high of a thread count is a waste of money.:dunno:

I saw some show also that was saying to look at other things besides thread count also. The chick was hot though so I didn't pay attention to what else she said.

BTW, does anyone know if the linens n' things sale is still on? we've been wanting to get a down mattress cover for under the sheets, and this might be a good time to pick one up

or, what about linens n' things? :werd: And make sure it's 100% Egyptian cotton. Some companies will only have 10% Egyption cotton in the sheets and make the label intentionally misleading.

I was debating between a set of 1200 regular cotton and 1000 Egyptian... felt them both, and the 1000 Egyptian felt better.

Best sheets evarrrrrrrr.
