The 135 does look very odd in person.... it's awkwardly small looking when compared to the 'normal' sized 335. I think the car's designers took a 335 and scaled everything (engine aside) down to 75% the size of the 3 series and called it a day.

8 Is the correct number of cylinders for a gas, internal combustion engine, and it always will be.

That's not to say you can't make a great engine with 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, whatever; but the correct number is still 8.
