Primary Role
The person in this IS position will support the Financial Accounting and AFE Software Systems. This person will work very closely with the Accounting Department, as well as other departments, supporting this software and with other team members integrating this software with other applications within the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain Qbyte FM as System Administrator and advise Accounting Department on ways to correct problems encountered with the financial system
Responsible for coordination of testing and implementation of new releases and upgrades to Qbyte FM
Escalate incidents appropriately for resolution with vendors
Maintain and arrange for upgrades to NAMP (.net custom AFE System) while working with the developer
Deliver training for systems as required
Review and make recommendations regarding new applications being considered by the company
Create Ad-hoc reports using SQL (TOAD), as well as preparing SQL for Crystal Reporting for various users throughout the company
Participate in various projects that involve working with various departments in the company bringing your expertise with Qbyte FM, AFE systems and Accounting background
Minimum Qualifications
5– 10 years in a system support role with strong overall computer skills
Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in IS Support and Accounting
Experience working with Qybte FM and AFE Systems
Relevant project management and report design experience
Technical diploma or University degree in relevant field
Possess good communication and training abilities
Good analytical and trouble shooting skills
Team player able to work with little supervision
