We popped into La Vita Bella last nite for dinner in an attempt to try a new restaurant. The location is perfect if you want a bite before a Flames game. It is 3 blocks from the saddledome, so if there is a game, parking becomes limited.
It's a quaint restaurant and relatively unassuming. The server was fantastic. He never intruded on our conversation unless we brought him into the conversation. Glasses were always full and he was very willing to give suggestions for dinner.
Everyone was very impressed with the food that we received for the price that was paid. The calamari was very fresh and not overly battered. The bruschetta was a little heavy on the garlic, but still superb. The salads all looked very good, especially the caprese.
The main course for all of us was fantastic. All in all, we were all very impressed with the whole experience. Service was outstanding and the food was amazing for the money.
We will be going back.
