hey all, i hope I'm not doing a repost, i did a quick search and didn't find anything relevant

in your opinion, what do you guys think is the best sports car that you can drive year round, so that you don't have to have a winter car and a summer car, but still looks very stylish and sporty?

GTR if Nissan ever improves their warranty (or lack thereof) for the tranny.

If I had the money, I'd buy an STI.

Damn right... RS4 is an amazing machine. After I took one for a test drive, my S2K never felt the same.

Not a fan of sportiness on the Subaru's. The handling definitely leaves something to be desired.

I'd look for a BMW or Audi.

lol no, not unless you lower them. BMW has lots of awd models as well.

I would say either a sti, evo or any audi!

The 06-07 STi is a great winter car and fun summer car, it can do the track and just be a daily driver. It has function and power.
The EVO 10 is a good all around car as well same as the STi good for all situations.
BMW great traction control and you can get all wheel drive models.
Infinity has all wheel drive models, the new G series is nice.
Audi RS4 is amazing but I would not drive it in Calgary winters unless it has the whole car 3M
There are a ton of cars that you can perform year round it all depends on your taste and your budget.

STI, X3, Audi RS4, or an Equinox/ Torrent.

I love the '02 or newer CRV's though. My mom has an '03 CRV and I just love it to bits. When I drove it, it was just awesome in the snow/slush, perfectly reliable and it gets excellent fuel economy for its very peppy IVtech powered 2.2L I4.

I'd say 06-07 STi except I owned one and the seats hurt my back when driving more then 30min. Fun to drive though, but it looks a little 'high school' unless we're talking about the Limited.

So, RS4 for me. :poosie: Power, looks, awd, and luxury.

^ I dont know about you, but I'd enjoy the merrit of having a winter vechile that starts everytime you want it to start, and doesn't break down when its -25 out on some lonely highway. :dunno:
But thats just me at least.

Any AWD sportscar will suffice.

Any Audi that has Quattro
Subaru
Lancer Evo
Passat (Not really a sports car though)

But for ultimate in AWD sportiness...

My friend had one and surprisingly enough, its' AWD was pretty good. Then again, my lawnmower had a bigger engine so I think snail-like speed helped me get home safely.

My vote would be wrx/sti. I tell that to everyone. It's the perfect Canada car. Sporty looking, awd for winter, fast and fun, 4 doors. If I only had one car for year round it would be that.

Jeep TJ, top off in the summer, and 4x4 in the winter.

as i was reading through i was surprised the R32 didnt come up more. Then again, with how new it is to Canada i can understand.

My votes for R32.

Power+AWD+Lots of room for both passengers and Cargo if you wish to put back seats down.
