So I got my wisdom teeth taken out about two weeks ago, yet my two sockets on the lower part of my mouth (in which my wisdom teeth were impacted) are pretty open.

How long does it take for the sockets to close up? My top sockets are pretty closed but the lower ones are pretty much open holes made to get things stuck in.

Help plz :-)!

god, it will take a long ass time. i had mine pulled last year this time and they just closed up a few months ago it was a PITA getting food stuck in there.

I got mine out december 14, and i've still got small holes. The bottom left is still a pretty significant sized hole, but the rest aren't really noticeable.

After a while you'll be able to get the food out just by quickly rinsing with water.

ya its a bitch when food gets stuck in your sockets. My doc gave me a little syringe to spray water in if anything gets jammed in there, works great.
