if i was to get my car i wanted and get it custom painted where would be the best place and how much would it cost? so if anyone could help that would be great.

i really dont think a paint job would cost the same as a new car.anyone else have a more serious answer?

probably cost you like 5-8000 depending on the extensiveness of your paint job

yeah i know why does it cost so much just to paint a car, you would think 1000 max, can someone tell me why it costs so much?

it takes a lot of prepping before painting the car. You can find a $1000 paint job, but it won't look NEARLY as good as the $8000 paint job. The most important part of a paint job is the prep work involved in painting the car.

holy, so in order for me to get a compleat turbo kit and a custom paint job its going to cost me 15,000 dollars, man i have like 900$ i have a long way to go.

milleniums paint job on that caddy was pretty nice, and their hood murals are nice too

3500 will get you a damn good paint job imo

As you can see, you have found quotes from anywhere between $900-30,000. And yes, I was surprised too, but when you want the best, be prepared to pay. If you want a regular paint job, then you can look to pay about $2000 from a backyard autobody guy (yes, they CAN do good jobs) to about $6000 for a body shop.

theres a place called Alyth auto body that does some wicked as paint jobs IMO...but its mostly on muscle cars. They would do a kick ass job

get spray paint, shotgun a 12 pack and do it yourself
