Nope.

Heart attack is caused by MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION.
This happens when one of the coronary arteries (the arteries that supply blood to your heart muscles) is blocked. Infarction = loss of blood flow to that area. If you had a heart attack you would have a CRUSHING feeling on your chest, pain would radiate to your left arm/jaw/neck, you wouldn't be able to breathe, etc etc.

My bet is that you were not breathing properly while lifting. You performed a val-salva maneuver...the same thing that you do when you push really hard when taking le shit. Push really really hard while not breathing and you will experience the same symptoms (dizziness, heart rate increases, feel like you are going to pass out).

ya it happens sometimes. especially when you're using the bench and pushing some pretty heavy weights. If you don't breathe properly while lifting weights and then get up right after, your get blurriness, dizziness. Ive gotten that a few times.

Hey nismo, does the force of pushing the back of your head into the bench have some sort of effect on this whole thing to along with your breathing?
