Hi,
My dad's engine is on it's last legs and needs to be replaced very soon. Car is a 2000 Honda Civic Si (Cdn spec) with the D16Y8 engine (1.6L Vtec) and an automatic transmission.
We'd like to keep it as an auto, and the tranny on there is fine as is, so even just an engine is fine.
Neither of us have any interest in swapping it ourselves, so basically I'm taking the easy way out and looking for:
engine (identical, equivalent or better), with or without auto transmission, installed and old motor removed.
Anyone? Prices? Sources?
