I find it strange that this is in Dubai and all the writing looks to be in english.

That is not a CSX. It is a Civic. It is probably and LHD EDM version, which is a LHD of the JDM version.

The CSX only exists in Canada.

That is because the EDM has both LHD and RHD versions depending on whether you are in the UK or in the rest of the EU.

I only say this as I am guessing you could get either the LHD or the RHD version in UAE. Now this could be the EDM or JDM version, but is to say but the owner in the picture of the M6.

Edit: Having reviewed http://www.afhonda.com/, it seems as though the cars available in the UAE are a mishmash of USDM, EDM and JDM cars!

Yeah they have tons of weird civics in Japanland. The first gen EL 1.6 has an identical twin in Japan (i.e. same lights and other mods from the Civic), but it's got AWD and has a weird name.

The current CSX is also in Japan (with the modded lights). So no, Canada is not the only place that gets the EL/CSX.

Who ever wrote on the car is pretty damn stupid...Who cares if the car is dirty, no reason at all to write all over it. Writing on a car with the much dust will for sure leave marks, I would be SO pissed if I were the owner.

In Dubai, the owner of an M6 would just be like.. ahh dang oh well. couple hundred bucks is stuck under my shoe anyway that should take care of these minor scratches.

Reminds of a 6-series that parks in Eau Claire parkade for weeks (months?) at a time without being moved. During the winter, it was covered in so much dust, you couldn't see through the windows.

The owner may just be out of town or business or something for an extended amount of time. No washing a car that parked for a few weeks doesn't wreck it.

The dumb people who wote on the paint who have scratch the clear a bit though :banghead:
