This morning $1USD = $1.2557CAN...
Will this situation eventually effect on the retail prices on cars, electronics, computers etc...here in Canada??

You can be certain it will happen more quickly than the prices going down last year.

Most electronics prices have been pretty close to par... not for long.

Computer parts will definately go up. I already have emails from Ingram and Techdata Canada informing people of price increases across the board. A lot of these companies speculate the fx rate week to week, so we'll probably see most of the price increases at computer stores between friday and monday.

Some items like memory are on the spot, and go up / down daily. :)

One of my suppliers have already boosted their prices 11%. It sucks.
