So I ended up with the winning bid on this Epiphone on ebay... i've always wanted one but didn't expect to pay nearly $2k for it. Oh well, don't bid drunk, lesson learned =) I've always wanted a Supernova but never really had the cash, and last year I bought a Gretsch Electromatic to keep me going in the meantime. Here's some pics of my new axe along with a couple videos of me playing some oasis (go figure) on my gretsch/epiphone.

Champagne supernova solo on the Grestch (i'm doing paul wellers solo from the album)

Live forever (i figured it would be a good first song to play on the guitar)

I couldn't tell you how many hours i've put on the gretsch, i've only had it a year and a half but i'd estimate 1000+. The Supernova I got last night, and have only had time to get a couple hours in on it. I find the action is a little too high and i wouldn't mind getting some different strings... hopefully it'll be a little easier to play after those mods (it seems quite stiff right now). Let me know what you think!

my supernova was the same, they really need a setup from the factory, but that's epiphone :dunno:

it looks beauty though

That is one sexy guitar.

Union Jack FTW! Nice riff by the way.
