FOB roommate- how to make them shut up?!

So i have a couple FOB roommates that are fresh from the Philippines, all they do is eat, watch tv and sing their fucking magic mic...

now normally i don't care about the first 2, but this magic mic thing is seriously garbage. i've heard bad singers before and i know i'm not the greatest but seriously, this one girl who is always singing it makes my ears and head hurt.
it's like killing and skinning a cat and then doing it like 20 times over and over, she keeps getting scores of 40-50 and yet still sings. she has no concept of tones and notes or anything musically related.

i don't even know if she works, when i leave in the morning shes here, when i come home from work she sings that stupid shit until she goes to bed.. if she's not singing she's doing laundry over and over again. i think she washes all her clothes like 10 times a week

Basically, Filipinos just love to sing. I sing everywhere, during homework, in the car, shower, during finals (I have a habit of singing in order to 'see' what I studied beforehand) but I stay away from those Magic Mics because they have no bass that your voice sounds like an effin' chipmunk.

well needless to say, they haven't figured out that if there is no water in the taps flowing when you turn them on or the toilets aren't flushing, yet the washing machine must magically still work...

every 20 minutes they try the taps, try the toilet and then again try the washing machine. they stand there for a good 5 minutes, turning the dial over and over again but to no avail. finally, one of them with no concept of how a washing machine works, took a bucket of water and filled the machine and turned it on.. well with NO FUCKING WATER on the entire block, how he manages to wash his clothes and get past the rinse cycle is beyond me

i would love to get a video but i don't have batteries for my camera.. and after the 5th time he's filled the machine he gave up

now he comes down to look at the machine and goes back up stairs, he doesn't seem to figure out the rinse cycle requires water to "rinse" the clothes and the machine must be active for this to work. as it sits, the machine is empty of water, full of clothes. if he puts water in the machine, the washer flushes all the water out and we're back to square one

NEVERTHELESS, if it bothers you, talk to them. Just tell them how you need sleep or that you need your ears till the day you die, and I'm sure they'll understand.

And I never understood why Filipinos need a fork AND spoon to eat. I got out of that habit but whenever I go back on vacation and just ask for a fork, they immediately assume I'm a foreigner.
