View Full Version : Kill Bin Laden - Must see
This is an interview from 60 Minutes a few weeks ago. A Delta Force commando wanted to set the record straight about how close they came to killing Osama in Tora Bora.... Fascinating stuff.
Enjoy and discuss...

Only watched the first two videos, but, if they killed Osama wouldn't they have little to no reason to stay over there fighting the 'war'?

No Osama means no more boogeyman to keep the populace frightened with. It's much harder to manipulate the people that way.
Power of Nightmares.

There are still factions of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Those are the people that the forces over there are trying to rid the country of. If they're present they can drum up more support and create another threat to the government in power.
Osama isn't dead either. If they really wanted him dead he would have been dead a long time ago.
