WTB Older Audi

Hi,im looking for an Audi for the upcoming ice race season,so it need not be mint by any means,just a running car,quattro is a definate bonus,as would a turbo,body damage/salvage is ok.Let me know what you got.

well the age dont matter,mostly price,this car need not be roadworthy,so older the car the cheaper it will be.

...this guy's talking about ICE RACING an 'older' Audi. I don't think your 2000 or late 90s Audis are what he's after. I think he's more in the market for something you'd see in an early to mid eighties WRC highlight reel.

I'll keep my eyes out on Kijiji/UsedCalgary/Craigslist while I'm looking - I don't do much, so I spend a lot of time on there.

How about a nissan Pulsar. some ice racing studs on this and it would haul around an ice course. 230 hp (stock) All Wheel Drive and ~2700 lbs with the interior still in it...

These cars are HARD to find,nearly a year later looking through kijiji/craigslist/trader,and usedcalgary i have not found a car yet,so back from the dead for this thread!

I ended up running a twin cam Neon sport last year as a ice racer,it worked quite well but i WANT awd (a talon tsi won)I bought a Audi V8 quattro but it would not work,they are geared way to high and dont make power until 4500rpm,so that rules them out.

Basicly a turbo 5cyl would work best imo,5 speed is a must (i dont think they came with quattro automatics anyway)even a older Audi 4000 might work (n/a 5cyl)Budget is around $1000+/-,as i said salvage cars welcome!Let me know what you have (or see sitting in a back lane someplace)Thanks.
