I just went through the process, what do you need to know?

My dad is the the Cheif Medical Examiner for all Firefighters , and every fire fighter has to go through him. What ya need to know?

Mainly what sort of fitness and health testing is done. Obviously sissies need not apply, I just want to know what aspects of physical fitness will be looked at so I can place more emphasis on them in my daily training routine and get myself to a level that'll help me succeed.

Also, as far as training and all that goes, are there any additional costs incurred, and is it paid training?
