I was going to work today at about 7:00 a.m. At mac taril and anderson. Looked like a van or suv hit the barrier at the on ramp to anderson and flipped. Car was a mess. It was wrapped aroud a pole. Guy had to have hit the wall going pretty fast to land were he did. I would find it hard to belive anyone lived. The police accident reconstruct van was there so I assume it was a fatality.
Hope the peeps are alright. Anyone else see it?

:( (copied from Calgary CityBeat)

At 250 AM this morning, police EMS and Fire attended a single
vehicle collision at Macleod Trail and Anderson Road. A
vehicle was southbound on Macleod and attempted to exit onto
the eastbound ramp to Anderson Road. The vehicle left the
road, mounted a cement barrier and struck a wooden electrical
pole.

A young adult woman died at the scene. A male was taken to
Foothills by STARS.

Further details will come when the investigation is
complete.

There's pics in the Herald/Sun.
