I bought this car 3 days ago and due to the parents decision, to my huge dismay i have to sell this beautiful car. While living at home i have very little say :(. I got it put a new battery in, the compression tested its 100% perfect and got the entire car inspected its in perfect mechanical condition. The engine also only has about 10,000 km's on it.

its 500 at the crank, and its posted on kijiji cause thats where i bought it from 3 days ago, i paid more than 13 because the owner orginally listed it for 13 and then invested more money into the car before i bought it, so i ended up paying well over 13 for the car.

Luke put more stuff into it that is why the price is bumped up a little. It had a coolant leak as well which was fixed, lights, and a few other things I can't think of right now.

haha sorry everyones confused, the car is 500hp AT THE CRANK, so i car can be 400 at the wheels or you can times it by about 1.3 for its CRANK horsepower. The owner was orginally asking 13 because there was a coolant leak the car wasn't starting right, when he realized the car wasnt' starting right because of the battery and the coolant leak was a 25 cent fix he wanted more money for it.

Where was the coolant leak? Post compression tests. Who was it looked at by? A coolant leak in a 13b isnt always the best sign. How was it fixed?

The car was bought for more then that price i don't know how to explain that, if anyone questions my intentions feel free to call the owner of rx7 Specialities and talk to adam. They looked the car over from head to toe and can vouche for it. I also told the story of why i'm not aloud to keep it as much to my dismay. The coolant leak was leaking from the water pump housing, there was a little nipple leaking it was a line to cool the twin turbo's but since it went to a single turbo that was blocked off, its now propely rerouted so theres no concern there.

Something doesn't add up. Looks like the car is being sold by a curber or someone who realized it was a bad buy. What kind of person pays "more than asking price" and can come up with 13k but has parents who tell him how to spend it..

Rx7 specialities knows the entire car.

The car is in MPH for the speedometer because the gauge cluster was changed (The faces), the MILEAGE on the car is in KM cause its a Canadian car, so it is 108,000 KM.

Also the reason the parents are involved is because i still live at home i told them i was buying an rx7 they had no idea it was a 500hp car, when i showed up in a loud (but nice sounding :)) rx7 they lost it and told me to either sell the car or find a new place to live, seeing as i spent all my money on the car i can't really afford to find a new place to live or i assure you i would.

I was there the whole time this transaction went down as I was working on my car at Rx-7 at the same time.

After the single turbo upgrade there was a improperly plugged coolant line that sprouted a leak. Jamie brought it to Rx-7 and it was a quick simple fix.

The new owner did pay more the $13,000 for the car, I can guarantee that as Jamie and I are friends and we discussed the deal.

The car runs amazing, the current owner is not trying to hussle anyone here and considering his age, I can understand his parents not allowing him to keep the car. Wouldn't like to see him hurt himself, no insult at your driving abilities... just common sense.

FYI unless you have a flywheel dyno i don't think you should be 'estimating' the HP. just stick with WHP cause that's what tuners use anyway.

500 crank is fairly accurate assumption of 400WHP but its been mentioned twice so I'm sure anyone who can read will put 2 and 2 together.

I have around 350 whp with T04E which is a smaller A/R than a T04R plus his is ported, has 1600 secondaries and an aftermarket fuel pump

It runs 400+ at the wheels

this car is worth 20k min
