ok sry for making another thread without a pic, please don't ban me,

anyways it was awhile ago now in bowness park i spotted this early 90s cavalier with an isuzu impluse fronted end conversion, when i saw it it was still in its primer phase, but i really thought it looked gorgeous, it was rolling with an r32 and some riced out hondas, which is the only reason i noticed it, does anyone have pics of this i need it for my library of fine automotive "wtf? really?"'s

It doesn't look that good anymore

sat at a farm for over a year and the weather has beaten the piss out of it

That's a shame. How hard was the conversion? I thought the Isuzus weren't J-bodies.

10 hours just figure out how to fit the lights,.. then a week of evenings to finish off the lower half of the front bumper

isuzu's aren't j-bodies,.. at the time I loved how the front of those impulses looked,.. but I didn't like anything else of that car.

still undecided what to do with it

I met my wife with it so it does have some sentimental value,.. I'm bringing it home tonight to assess how bad it is, and how much more work to get it running to spec again

Maybe I should rockguard it like the audi and subie :D

Gotta say, that's a unique car.
Crushing it would be a waste IMO.

You could always use trunk liner as a paintjob!
I kid, I kid...

Definitely worthy of a restoration though if only for the fact that its marvellously unique.

And the pizza nights where I invited everybody over to my garage. That's how ya met :D

Oh and don't forget your brother in law can paint cars :nut: We will take care of it. You throw in a new motor and don't worry about painting it, ok?

We will refine the front end so it fits better too. Maybe I can make a one piece fibreglass or something.
