Online proofing

So, i think theres a couple of pro's here.
I am looking for an web-app to be able to share the proofs with the clients.
Something that lets me upload the shots in password protected galleries and then lets the users comment on the shots.
Any ideas?

I used to have a little Joomla site with a gallery software but there dont support it anymore. It was quite nice.

Smugmug is the best program I've seen (great customer service too), but others also use services such as flikr and pbase.

Smugmug lets you upload your pictures, watermark them, put them in private galleries w/passwords, and lets people comment on them among many other things.

you can always make your own website, it seems more professional to have your own website rather to use a service like flickr or free hosting services

Joomla still supports Gallery2, I have it integrated on my site. That does everything you want.
