I just got Digital Cable about 2 weeks ago.

Anyone else have problems with the audio cutting out very frequently? Like every 30 seconds or so.

Especially bad when I am watching a flames game on sportsnet west.

Is there any way to fix it? If not, I am going back to normal cable.

Give shaw a call; they can troubleshoot you with this and help you out.

By digital you mean HD? Once a while is normal. Every 30sec is not.

low signal, bad/old wiring, radioshack splitters...

Mine cuts out every now and then for HD feeds...it'll cut out for 3-5 seconds but it doesn't happen every 30 seconds or anything like that - maybe once or twice in a 1 hr show.

you mis-understood on so many lvls.

Shaw has two kinds of tv services. Analog and Digitial.
Analog comes out of the wall and into your tv. No box is needed. When you use Classic cable and above, your account is allowed to have up to 4 analog tvs running. That means Living room, Bedroom, kids room and Bonus room. 4 analog tvs

Digital Tv uses DCTs (Digital Cable Terminals) and each tv needs their own box if you want to get the digitial channels.

Under a digitial tv account, you can one tv hooked up to a DCT to get digital signals and 3 other ones with analog (up to 4 tvs). Or you can get two boxes and have another two running on analog if you want.
