Is there any place possibly in the NW to buy Amsoil products?

Basically looking to get some Synthetic 10W30, and possibly some gear oil.

Part Source carries them. I should add that my oil consumption has gone down a bit since I switched from Mobil 1. I drive an S2000 too btw. Since the winter is almost here why not get 5W30?

Part source has it! Thanks dimi! I might get 5W30 changed in for my next oil change. I still have to get some winter rubber :(

option import is a retailer, last time i bought it there it was cheaper than partsource, maybe a placebo or something but the first time i used AMSoil instead of mobil, i swear there was a difference in RPM climb, like half a pound was shaved off the flywheel, but who knows maybe it was just some cracked out BS lol

Yeah I bought the first bottle i had from option import, it's just to far of a drive just to pick up a bottle. Part Source is right beside my house, I would rather pay an extra dollar then drive 25mins

Every time you put in fresh oil the car will feel like its just that little bit faster. In this case some of that will be due to the fresh oil, but mostly because you want to justify spending twice as much for oil. There is a difference though. My Mobil 1 turned pretty dark in about 2000 km, though that doesn't mean the oil isn't protecting your engine. I've had the Amsoil for about 3500km now and its turned to dark gold color. I got it for $8.99/quart at Partsource.

Oh yea I would definitely get the 5W-30 if you plan to winter drive. At -30 I had to crank it a few times before it started even with Mobil1 5W-30. The lack of lubrication for the first few seconds of a cold start gets a lot worse the higher the weight of oil you go.

There is a shop, branded Texaco or something, in the NE, down the street from Princess Auto, just NE of the Whitehorn station that is advertising Amsoil synthetic oil changes for 69.99, which I thought was pretty decent.

edit: its here
