I had a Mercedes blow by me yesterday and I could swear it looked exactly like the SL-65 AMG Black edition. It was definitely AMG, two door, widebody. Is that model even available in Canada?

Didn't get a shot, but the camera is in the car in case I see it again.

In Victoria? Doubt that. I can't even get MY car on the ferry with my bodywork.

The BS isn't in Canada.

When I went to Vic in Sept...the getting on and off of the ferry was the scariest part of my trip...

Nope, it was much wider than that in the rear. If it wasn't the Black, it was definitely a widebody kit on some other Mercedes. It didn't have the big front emblem like the 55 or the 63.

Whatever it was had BC plates. And there's lots of ferrari's and lambos out here, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Benz dealer here has some higher-end stuff too.

I think I found it...if it's not the Black Series, then this looks like it almost spot on (I thought it had a different front end but I might be wrong):

No, you did not see that SLK. That SLK is still a one off by a guy I know in California.

May be some other custom wide body SL. and if it had BC plates it's not a Black series either, since they won't be available here.

Yeah...the wheels on the one in that pic, plus the way the rear quarter was flared look identical to the one I saw. I'm really hoping I see it again.
