selling a car, that was in an accident

Ok, heres the story, my car was involved in an accident, well my question is. Can i sell it right away? Even though my court date is before October 16th....I recieved the "Damaged Motor Vehicle Clearance paper thingy....so is it ok to sell it? ive gone through insurance already, and the car has been since removed from the policy. Do i need to wait for anything else?.....thanks a lot!!!
