Be prepared to wait a while if you go on weekend afternoons. The lineup gets really long to get in and out sometimes.

Go on a cool/cold day. Less smelly.

I remember the last time my dad and I went there to throw away some old microwaves and computers. It took like 1hr in the lineup to leave!

F-that.

usually, if you have less than 250 kg's of garbage, they will let you pre-pay the $5 and then you don't have to wait in line to leave. Bring cash.

One time I was there, the debit machine broke and the line got so long that they just let everyone leave for free.

It's actually quite organized.

When you come in there is what's called the throw-and-go, this is where you go if you have odd things, such as paint, bbq's, tires, wheels, appliances etc.

If you have to go to the throw-and-go they will usually let you just throw the rest of your stuff in the bins there.

If they don't then you will need to drive down to the actual landfill where you have to back up to the pile. If you have a trailer, practice first he he.
