Looking for romantic/quiet/classy place for sunday.

Taking a girl that used to work with me that just called me for drinks on sunday. Would like some place quiet, music is ok but some place where we can still talk. Don't want to go to a dive either, someplace decent...I know it's sunday night so some places may be closed...

Was thinking the Jazz bar downtown...Beat Niq is it???

Brewsters or Original Joe's (on 4th & 24th ave SW). Phenominal beer, which is a great ice breaker... great food, pretty lax atmosphere, not prissy or snooty, just relaxed and casual. :)

really depends what time you go, but i think brewsters is a good idea, watch out the food is epic shit!

Well, the reason I ask is cuz lots of places that are good for drinks have crappy food. If you are going for just drinks I would go to Ming or Original Joes or something else along those lines. If you are gonna grab a bite, I would say DiVinos or Seven. The other option would be Raw Bar in Hotel Arts. Great food, great drinks and a hotel right there :D

If you're just doing drinks, hit the Living Room or Bungalow. They're both pretty quiet, especially on a Sunday. Either that or see if the tower is open, and you can just head up there for some drinks.

If you wanna be $$$ goto banff and goto Giorgio's Trattoria. They have an amazing Apple Cider martini. Trust me, worth the drive, plus with the snow and what not banff ave will look spectacular.

Mango Shiva in downtown. Newly renovated with good music. Nice and quiet with an atmosphere good for hanging out.
