I recently purchased this laptop from Memory Express, but have decided to go the Mac route, and its they said it’s too late to take it back. I’ve had it for less than a month but its past Memory Expresses 2 week return policy.

SOLD!

I have the receipt showing what I paid, and it has 3 years warranty from Asus which includes accidental damage.
Here are the main specs:
14.1” Screen, Core 2 Duo T8400, 4GB Ram, 250GB Hard Drive, DVD+/-RW, ATI Radeon HD 3650, Vista Home Premium

The 14.1” Screen is actually WXGA+ which is one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place, with max resolution at 1440 x 900. Also, the pretty powerful ATI Card for this notebook is really good for games and video.

Slick. Have you tried running any games on this? It should be good for 4000 points in 3dmark06 so it would play new games like Fallout 3 and Dead Space really nicely.

Pretty sweet for a 14" notebook!

I've installed a few games like Call of Duty, NHL 09 but havent tried Fallout 3 and Dead Space

Its a really solid laptop, and for the amount of preformance you get out of such a portable machine is impressive.

Bump!! Looking to sell, as I've bought the Macbook!

I think you are crazy selling this for a MacBook. I say that as a 25 year Apple customer.

The MacBook is more money but:
has a slower CPU 7350 vs 8400
has less ram
has less storage
lower res screen
vastly inferior GPU

:D

You can't just simply compare the number, I'm sure when put up everything together MacBook will be much more reliable and faster. (ofcourse nothing can help the less storage). MacBook is something you would feel good for 4+ years while other PC laptops I will say you will get sick of them after 2 years max...:poosie:
