I have a Phoenix Gold XS2500 Amp which is a really good old school amp. It started smoking the other day, not sure why but I like this amp and has worked great for me up until now.

Anybody know of any shops that specialize in fixing car audio equipment??

Once you let out the magic smoke, it's hard to get it back in :( RIP.

It's a really bad habit, you should tell it to stop.

Grog's right...if it smokes, it is broke. You can fix things like blown transistors and such, but smoke means you've blown something a little more serious, likely the power supply or one of the coils. Not worth repairing 99% of the time.

Dammit this was a good amp... I've blown many powerful subs with this thing... sad to see it go :(
