What to do this weekend?

I'm getting rather tired of my girl and I doing our standard routine. I pick her up from work on Fridays, we go out for dinner, come home and watch TV or a movie, do the ol' in-out, and then go to sleep. It's getting boring, and I'm as much to blame as her for that.

So - what cool things are there to do around town on a weekend? It could be something specific to just this weekend, or something like, say, Jubilations... which happens all the time.

I JUST WANT SOME ENTERTAINMENT!!!! Help me out bros.

Yuk Yuks, but I heard they have moved to a new location, not sure where or if it's open yet.

Always good to check out the globe once in awhile for some non-mainstream movies - or - take her bowling or go play pool or something.

surprise her! nothing beats the element of surprise. Pick her up from work and take her to a nice place to eat in Banff. Than walk around some place (even the city of Banff) in the Rockies when its getting dark.

Why don't you cook her dinner or cook together? Three or four courses all paired with their own wine! Not only will it taste good you guys will get drunk and have great sex.

there's lots to do... just gotta have the motivation and the willingness to try new things (or look at them with a new light)
-go for a walk down by the bow
-bowling
-lasertag (took my girl for her first time, she loved it)
-pool
-swimming pool
-rent scooters
-take a couple introductory or drop in classes (like yoga, cooking or something)
-shooters edge (she also enjoyed this.. even though she hates/is scared of guns)
-skating
-puzzles/boardgames with friends (we have a game night once every 4-6 weeks.)
-do the ol' random drive somewhere
-wall climbing (i think MRC has one)
-bundle up, grab a thermos of hot chocolate, drive outta town and stargaze (take a star watching book if you're new)
-teach each other something

ok.. that's all i can rustle up right now... hopefully something grabs your attention.

Cooking together? That's a terrible idea. Okay, unless it's a new relationship and he's trying to get laid sure it could be fun with some hot new puss playing around the kitchen.

But this guy is in a rut. Nothing says blow my fucking brains out more than sharing a hot kitchen with the woman, getting in each others way trying to cook three different things and have them all finish at the same time, and then cleaning up that shit hole with food stains everywhere while hungover from wine.

I have nothing to contribute for ideas. I can just spot bad ones.
