Well if you are just looking for something quick and dirty, go to a fabric store and buy fluorescent green fabric and stretch it tight.

I did go to a fabric store but the green wasn't the right green color..lol..I thought there would be some kinda theatre store in calgary

Vistek you can buy chroma key paper, then you'll need a backdrop stand system, which you could rent... You could probably rent the whole system actually.
$70 or so for a 9 foot long roll of paper, total length of the paper is like 32 feet or something.

And then you will probably want a few sandbags
make your own.

You just need some colour that isn't what any of the people in front are wearing. Blue, green, red, they all work if they're lit right.
