OP wants LHD...
you could get a pretty decent early 2000's Mustang or something for that much.
or you could look at Mk.3 Supras.

You can get a early to mid 90's Vette for a good cost.. they are very moddable and stupidly fast if done right.

why such a hard on for RWD? <200hp RWD is kinda pointless.
i am going to go out on a limb and think that being a student he probably wants something good on gas and will likely steer away from V8's.
Hey guys Im thinkin a toss up between these two cars, I've had a GTI before, and the reason for RWD is I grew up driving trucks, and I'd just like to have another rwd vehicle again :bigpimp:

Its an s10 blazer.
OP- Are you going to drive this car through the winter?! If so, then i don't think that 240sx is going to be a very good choice. Its low and it has summer wheels and tires, and is going to need some body work.
I would go for the gti and get some steelies or the winter. Good looking little car, reliable, newer and good price considering it doesn't have any issues.

S13 in the winter is awesome for use as a snow plow.
Ya I was plannin on using it for winter too, I was hoping he had the stock bumpers tho so I could just change them out, but thats a pain in the arse! Ya Im thinkin the Gti is a better choice, but I'd really like a 240sx with a Sr20 swap...I could always just buy a winter beater too! :nut:

Alright awesome! How do you find repairs on them though when something does go wrong? Is it expensive?
