So Friday night (9:30ish) I was driving down Castleridge Blvd. the road in front of Prairie Winds Park. I was heading east, as I was just passings the main park entrance, there was this dark colored Acura CL Type S coming from the opposite direction in the left lane. Out of the blue, the driver cranked the wheel left and did a HARD..and I mean "HARD" U-turn. Must of been doing that U-turn at 60-70 km/hr, and being in a long car like the Acura CL, those cars and their turning radius sucks....especially doing it at an overwhelming speed.
So what happens? He fukken smokes the curb dead on with his front passenger wheel, fcuks up wheel, and probably his control arms and other internal parts. The impact was so hard that the rear end of the car slides hard into the curb as well. So after that the guy still trys to drive the car, but going very slow and the car drifts over the the right with smoke coming front he front, he's trying to steer and correct it. I drive next to him, gave him the "WTF stare" and he just drove normally with one hand on top of the steering wheel acting like nothing happened! Pretty funny, i drove off and look in my mirror, and noticed that he pulled over.

Stop postwhoring.

OP, did you call the police? I'm guessing the guy was either high, drunk or the car was stolen - or likely all of the above.

Agreed... stolen or test drive

Anyone who owns a CL should know it has the turning radius of a semi

you should've called the cops right away.

100% he was either really drunk or the car was stolen.

No I didn't...i was heading to work at the time. I thought about it though, just didn't have time to deal with it, just cuz they would probably expect me to stick around for questioning.

License plate not showing up as "stolen" on CPIC right now, it should be updated pretty often though.

http://www.cpic-cipc.ca/English/searchForm.cfm?sType=Licence+Plates&Submit=Begin+Search

Call the non-emergency number and tell them what happened.

You didnt get pictures of the ignition console and the drivers side door - two common places to look for evidence of thievery.

Actually, the ignition was the first place I looked b4 I snapped pics and it was intact.....it wasn't ripped apart, nothing was out of the ordinary.
