new exhaust

thanks to my broinlaw barmanjay i have a cool sounding minivan with full 3" side exit exhaust

couldn't fit it over the axle so we opted for side exit

sounds really good too, doesnt sound ricey, has a nice tone, you can hear the turbo spooling through it:hitit:

the pipe does not hang low, its welded up tight to the underneath of the van, and the pipe does not point straight at the tire! its off at an angle! and i know my directionals are backwards, when i spent 30 days putting in 3 transmissions and 8 sets of axles i did not care how my tires went back on when i drove it lol

stock turbo is running 14lbs , intercooled, 3" exhaust and in the next couple weeks it shoul be getting bigger injectors and socketed computer so i can run 20psi

right now i guess its about 175 wheel horse if i had to guess, which i suck at lol

Parts for these things 5 years ago were everywhere, now its getting a little hard for us turbo dodgers to find anything cool at the wreckers, however these things are very cheap and extremely easy to mod for power!

I don't know much at all about mechanics (88jbody helps me alot hes also a turbo dodger) and its pretty simple

i can also pull a tranny in an hour, and have an axle replaced in 5 minutes, from jack up to jack down :D

I had this DVD from the UK of some track day event someplace in Britain. They had some of the fastest street legal rides in the country competing.

No joke, a bunch of people with modified "People Carriers" (what the blokes in jolly ol' call vans) were actually going faster than Vipers. Around the HANDLING courses.


Like the old addage goes, 90% driver, 10% car. If you've ever seen that Top Gear episode with Sabine Schmidt driving the dodge van around the Nurburgring, you'll know what I'm talking about.
