Not only does this make him look like quite the humanitarian but it also helps microsoft on the exchange and in court. Consumers, juries, organizations etc love this kind of stuff..smart investment

Its called business. The guy is successful in making his product superior, and became super dominant in the computer industry. The product didn't make its way into almost every computer by being crappy. You can't blame the guy for being successful :)

yah he even donated computers to librarys in canada. My mom works at a library and they got brand new comps for free from microsoft. At least he gives something back.
