When I rolled my ankle, I somehow managed to mess up my knee. I can still run/sprint but it does bother me at times. The ankle is fine now just the knee.

Do you guys know if there are any knee work outs/rehabilitation that you've done?

I've been just doing leg work outs and getting the legs stronger. :dunno:

search for the ACL thread...i think there are exercises in there.

The one i found most helpful for building the muscles in my knee after surgery was to do the stairmaster backwards.

hope that helps.

Did you go to physio?

They would have given you excercises specific to your injury to work on.....they did when I blew out my ankle and my knees... and the exercises were different depending what I hurt (my knee has been 3 times)

Now you are saying doing leg workouts... what does that entail?

What about stretching? I was having issues with my knee and I went into physio and had a very tight IT band that was causing my knee to hurt... after about 2 weeks of rolling on the foam roller helped and now it is completely gone...

Physio is your friend...find a good one and let them help you, you might end up doing more harm than good.

Buy a book called "Bulletproof Knees". It's written by Mike Robertson, he's an amazing trainer/rehab specialist.
