Hey, does anyone remember that vietnamese restaurant beside Radisson liquor that used to have that all you can eat beef you grilled yourself and put into rice wraps with noodles and vegetables? Well, since its a lame buffet now, does anyone know where else has the same stuff, and I don't mean the usual yakiniku like at Sushi BBQ Inn.....

Thanks in advance!

lol its the same thing,

basically viet style korean bbq

you have a wrap (salad roll wrap) on a plate, put veggies, beef, vermicilli, sauce wrap it all up and its a beef wrap

Ha Tien doesn't do it anymore.

I was there last week for some and the new owners stopped serving it

The "beef wrap" you guys are referring to is called Bo Nuong Vi in Vietnamese. There used to be a place by Hooters that did it but I think they closed down a long time ago.

I can't remember the name so I'm not sure if you guys talked about it yet..

There's one restaurant across from the Swiss Chalet on Memorial that has all you can eat.
It sounds like that's what you were talking about when you said it was a buffet now though.

The U of C Vietnamese Student's Association (VSA) hold AYCE pho for $10 a few times throughout the year. They usually hold it at one of the sponsor's restaurants.

Never been though, 1 bowl is enough for me.

Not exactly AYCE, but I wouldn't want more than that anyway. Place on 12th Ave near the Dome. Think it's just called Viet Nam.

I think it's only once a semester.
Just went in January. It's bring-your-own-bowl and it's bottomless for $7 + $5 mandatory membership to VSA.
