Spotted: red turbo M3 cab (no pics)

Nice red M3 cab with a beefy intercooler in the front, plate started with MAF-. Saw this guy heading east on 33rd Ave from Westhills area, then we went north up Crowchild. Not sure where he went from there but I'm wondering if anyone knows him and what he's got! rage's beemer buddy? :D Seen him around the area a few times but it's the first time I've spotted the intercooler.

Could have been, I didn't hear any whine or spool or blow but he was taking it pretty easy. Are s/c typically intercooled as well? :dunno:

I recall seeing a red FI E46 in pics from one of the Beyond BMW meets a long time ago...could be the same car...but I think it may have been a 330 :dunno:.

Pretty sure it's Dinan supercharged. I remember seeing one a while back, whether it was at DTP or SCN :dunno:

Yah, it was probably the Dinan M3. One is red, one is silver that I know of.

I see a red one with a massive FMIC occasionally downtown near the Shaw head office. The guy drives it pretty dick-ishly, but I don't recall hearing any BOVs or spooling. Just a mean exhaust note and the overwhelming sound of douche superiority

I believe I'm still the only turbo E46 in town (the other kits are being installed over the winter), unless someone went directly to HPF. I hear Edmonton's getting some soon too.

Now that I see this again, if he saw a big intercooler, the dinans dont have big intercoolers, they just have big leaky ass radiators. Could have been a turbo then :dunno:
