Coffee shops other than Starbucks...

Where would be a decent place that has blended coffee drinks and all the other fine coffee drinks but that wouldn't be a starbucks or second cup.

I love Higher Grounds but I don't have classes today and I am not driving all the way downthere for a frozen mocha haha.

Any coffee places in the south somewhere other than the myriad of Starbucks and Second Cups....

The two best Good Earths in the city are the ones in Crowfoot and in Alberta childrens hospital.

Great staff and management as well as a solid product.

Both serve delicious healthy lunches as well now :thumbsup:

That one "should" be good .. I went to the one in Van everyday ..(when I was there)

However .. the calgary one .. :(

I went there one .. that guy did FAIL twice to make a coffee to me .. and even the third one .. taste worse then instand coffee ... and took me 10 min to line up .. :confused:

Ah, sorry to hear about that. I didn't run into any problems when I went there. I had a latte and it was pretty good.

I thought Cafe Artigiano was awesome. Kawa is also really good and if you want to try somewhere like Good Earth check out Bumpys behind the Brewsters on 8th and 11th downtown. They have sandwiches, Mac and cheese, soup etc...
