Hi,

I want buy a set of 225/70R15 winter tires from a sponsor, but unfortunately they do not have any steel rims. So I guess Ill go to pick n pull and try to find a set.

I am just wondering if you guys have any good tips on how to find a proper sized rim from there? I know how to measure the offset, diameter, and bolt pattern, but what else do I need to measure to ensure these 225/70/15 tires will fit? If anyone knows a good website, that would be even better.

This is for a 2008 Ford Ranger.

I wouldn't bother getting rims from PnP. Last set I got there had 3 bent wheels out of 4. Plus they were quite a bit corroded!

try costco, they're cheap for steelies.

i got a set of these black steelies form mytires.ca (calgary)

http://www.uniquewheel.com/catalog_pg2.html

in 15x8 4"backspacing for my 95 pathfinder winter beast from mytires.ca in calgary for $60 a pop.

a few bucks cheaper than the competition, however they did take about 1.5 month due to them ordering the wrong set and the guy helping me out going back to school- in the end they got it right, and about $15 cheaper a wheel than anywhere else.

just make sure you know your bolt pattern and backspacing (or offset)
