Most phobias are kinda absurd, and brought on by childhood trauma. My friends used to make fun of me a lot for my fear of balloons because it's just so ridiculous haha.

But ya, what Maury does actually works... I got over my fear by buying balloons, blowing them up and popping them. After a while, the fear went away completely. Gotta confront it head on before you realize it's not that bad.

lol... a chicken suit terrifies her? That's funny as hell. But say that Maury has to exploit it as "entertainment".

It's funny you know - most of you probably are not old enough to remember, but shows like Maury and even Springer (believe it or not) were much more subdued and even heartwarming at times. Then they decided to go "trash" and put out shit like this.

With that said, the really sad part is that shows are based on ratings. If it doesn't get ratings, it rarely gets played if at all. There is a huge hoarde of people who eat this garbage up. Messed up television. And I hate to generalize, but I would guess the majority of these feeds are US television?

Still. Chickens.
